Summer has ended and so has my summer shoe collection. I not only love summer for the warmth that it brings, but for the love of my open toe shoes, cute flip flops, sandals, and nail polish to adorn my toes. However, fall brings in the need for edgy heels and thigh high boots; which I love! This fall the shoe trends to watch out for, do not disappoint or steer to far from summer trends.
One thing that has not gone away is animal print. This fall you are going to see a lot of it not only on shoes prints but bags and clothes as well. This our designers have decided to up the animal print details, to make the look more modern and exciting. I just bought a pair of loafer style animal print flats that you can actually feel the fur on them and honey they are fabulous and fun; so please find a pair that provides that fur feel to it and you will fall in love. In addition, crocodile and alligator skin is making a comeback and appearing on bags as well.
If you thought floral was only meant for summer then you are missing out because it's here to stay year around. You are going to find dark color booties and pumps adorn with floral prints and embroidery. This will give your fall wardrobe a little pop of color and keep summer with you. Don’t put away those ankle strap heels because they are moving into fall as well, with some metallic flare. Mules are not going anywhere and I have to admit in the beginning I could not stand them and now I have fallen in love with them. I just brought a pair from ALDO in crocodile with a block heel and they are very stylish with a pair of skinny jeans or even ankle pants for work.
Lastly, do not forget about those thigh high and knee length boots. You can never have enough boots and some I have are pretty close to the same style but the heel or design of the boot is different. I love the fact when it gets too cold for pumps, I can slide on a pair of knee length or thigh high boots which allows me to remain stylish, warm and dare I say sexy.
So, don’t be too sad about putting up those summer shoes because your fall shoe collection will keep you smiling and warm throughout the winter. Don’t forget to dress up your ears with Shotzie’s Way statement earrings and a nice fedora or beret to keep those ears warm.
